Your CSA supports communities in NE, DC

Cultivate the City works with several local nonprofits, organizations and school gardens to provide you with fresh produce weekly. We have strong partnerships with Miner Elementary, Idea PCS and Gallaudet University, and your CSA share helps build nutrition programming and support for garden activities with young adults and youth through out the DMV area.

In addition, any extra produce that is not picked up or sold, is donated to local food pantries weekly, reducing food waste and providing for community members who otherwise may not have access to healthy foods.

Thank you in advance for your support and we look forward to growing healthy, unique and delicious produce for you and your family!

CSA Work Share
Work Share Volunteers who participate regularly for 3 hours a week can also get a CSA share for a heavily reduced cost. Learn more about Volunteering with us, and help build healthy food opportunities all around DC! You can also email us directly at

What is a CSA?

Community-supported agriculture, commonly referred to as a CSA model, is a system that connects the producer and consumers within the food system more closely by allowing the consumer to subscribe to the harvest of a certain farm or group of farms.
